Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a six-week series of 90 minutes workshops that teach you how to take care of yourself while caring for someone else. By taking care of your own physical and emotional needs, you become a better caregiver.

Topics include: managing self-care, ways to locate community resources, stress reduction tools, changing negative self-talk to positive self-talk, how to communicate more effectively, how to express your feelings, needs, and concerns, just to name a few. Participants will make weekly action plans, share experiences and help each other solve problems.
