NOTICE OF INTENT TO PURCHASE LAND

The County Commissioners of Carroll County, Maryland, announces its intent to purchase a portion of that tract or parcel of land and easements in the 7th Election District of Carroll County, Maryland, situate at or near 1033 Meadow Branch Road, Westminster, Maryland, 21158, Map 38, Parcel 462 containing 0.1333 of an acre of land, more or less, Fee Simple; 0.8663 of an acre of land, more or less, for permanent grading easement and 4.9141 acres of land, more or less, for an avigation easement from Frances E. Wetzel for One Hundred Ten Thousand  Dollars and Zero Cents ($110,000.00).  The land is being purchased in connection with the Carroll County Airport Runway Safety Improvement Project.

The County Commissioners will decide whether or not to purchase this property at a public meeting to be held no sooner than fifteen days from the date this notice appears. The County Commissioners of Carroll County, Maryland, announces its intent to purchase easements in the 7th Election District of Carroll County, Maryland, situate at or near 1025 Meadow Branch Road, Westminster, Maryland, 21158, Map 114, Parcel 6784 containing 0.2795 of an acre of land, more or less, for a Restrictive Land Use and Avigation easement from DLH Limited Liability Partnership for Twenty-Five Thousand  Dollars and Zero Cents ($25,000.00).  The land is being purchased in connection with the Carroll County Airport Runway Safety Improvement Project.

The County Commissioners will decide whether or not to purchase this property at a public meeting to be held no sooner than fifteen days from the date this notice appears. PRESERVATION EASEMENT OPTION

 

The Board of County Commissioners of Carroll County, Maryland, announces its intent to purchase an Option for a Critical Farms Agricultural Land Preservation Easement over 65.968 acres of land, located at 1734 Deep Run Road, Westminster, Maryland, 21157, from  MATTHEW LEE DELL for $262,500.00. The County Commissioners will decide whether or not to purchase this option at a public meeting which is to be held no sooner than fifteen days from the date this notice appears.  Any person wishing to comment on the proposed purchase may do so, either orally or in writing, by contacting the County Commissioners Office, 225 North Center Street, Westminster, Maryland, 21157, and/or may appear at the meeting.
