Currently, plan review fees are collected for 5 out of the 16 county review agencies:

  • Development Review
  • Engineering Review
  • Stormwater Management
  • Floodplain
  • Forest Conservation

Currently, review fees are collected for 5 out of the 8 project types:

  • Site Development Plans
  • Major Subdivision Plans
  • Minor Subdivision Plans
  • Amended Plats
  • Off-conveyance

After review, the BCC gave direction to:

  • increase existing fees to recover 100% of salaries
    • of the corresponding review staff for the 5 agencies collecting fees
    • based on the percentage of time allocated to plan processing
  • increase only the existing review fees and
    • not to introduce new fees for the additional 11 agency reviews
    • not to introduce new fees for additional project types being reviewed
    • not to introduce fees for additional services related to plan review

The Review Fee Proposal increases each existing fee by 170%. Existing Fee Computation Sheets may be viewed here. Proposed Fee Computation Sheets may be viewed here.

At their July 23, 2020 meeting, the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) adopted Resolution No. 1065-2020, which adjusts the fee schedule for development plan review services.  The resolution is effective and applicable to all invoices issued after July 23, 2020.
