Location: Hashawha Environmental Center/Bear Branch

You’ll be bugging out as we learn all about creepy crawlies! Learn the basics of bugs – from understanding their body parts to discovering the importance of insects to adding to our entomology collection on display. Participants will get to pin their very own insect and learn how to display and preserve these creatures for others to study from for years to come! Our small group size will ensure adequate one-on-one help while pinning. If there is high interest for the program, the program will run again in the afternoon.
*This program is for youth ages 7-12 that have an interest in entomology. Please register each family member in this age range who will be participating.
