Effective March 27, 2023, the procedures for Temporary Food Permit submission has been modified to the following:

  1. Events containing multiple food vendors
    1. All participants must complete the Temporary Food Permit Application packet and pay the $25.00 fee.
    2. The participants are still to submit all paperwork to the event coordinator to be given to the Health Department for review and approval. Individual applications for events will not be accepted and will be mailed back to the applicant.
    3. All paperwork and appropriate fees must be submitted to this office no later than 14 days prior to the start of the event.
  2. Permits with Multiple dates
      1. Permits with multiple dates will only be accepted with consecutive dates listed. If the applicant is to operate multiple non-consecutive weeks or weekends, a separate application and fee must be submitted for non-consecutive dates. (i.e., if the applicant is to operate each weekend in a month, each weekend is to be applied for and paid for separately).
      2. All paperwork and appropriate fees must be submitted to this office no later than 14 days prior to the start of the event.
  3. Excluded Organizations
    1. Any bona fide non-profit fraternal, civic, war veterans, religious, or charitable organization that wishes to hold an event must complete the excluded notification form along with the excluded food source sheet.
    2. Excluded organizations such as a fire company who is holding an event with multiple food vendors will complete the excluded notification form. Each food stand who is not an excluded organization will complete the temporary food permit application packet and pay the $25.00 fee for each stand. All paperwork and appropriate fees must be submitted to this office no later than 14 days prior to the start of the event.
