Some Gatherings and Meetings Return to Virtual
Westminster, MD, Monday, August 16, 2021 – Effective today, the Carroll County Board of Commissioners announced updated restrictions regarding all gatherings and meeting involving county staff and county facilities. In awareness of increasing COVID-19 infections and out of an abundance of caution, the commissioners are returning all inside meetings or gatherings where physical distancing of 6 feet is not possible, to a virtual environment. This affects Carroll County Government meetings and gatherings only and does not apply to meetings and appointments where 6-foot distancing is available.
The decision affects these meetings in the immediate future:
Carroll County Planning and Zoning meeting on Tuesday, August 17, 2020 at 9:00 am.
Carroll County Veterans Advisory Council meeting on Tuesday, August 17, 2020 at 2:00 pm.
Residents and interested parties should check specific meeting agendas for information on how to participate or view meetings or contact the department managing the meeting. County staff will also communicate with known participants in meetings.
Residents are encouraged to contact the department or personnel involved to receive instructions on specific meeting details.
