Westminster, MD, Monday, August 5, 2019 - The Carroll County Board of Commissioners invite you to join them as they participate in National Night Out activities throughout the county on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. National Night Out is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) and co-sponsored by the various law enforcement agencies and organizations nationwide. The commissioners will join the expected millions of people around the world participating in "National Night Out Against Crime." National Night Out is held on the first Tuesday in August.

Various activities around the county include:

Carroll Lutheran Village, Garden of Memories, 300 Lukes Circle, Westminster 7:00 – 8:00 pm

Dutterers Park, Westminster 6:00 – 8:30 pm

Belle Grove Square, 1 Park Avenue, Westminster 7:00 – 8:30 pm

King Park, Westminster 5:00 – 7:30 pm

Manchester Carnival Grounds 6:00 – 9:00 pm

Hampstead, North Carroll Farms 6:30 – 9:00 pm

New Windsor Carnival Grounds 6:30 – 8:30 pm

Sykesville Carnival Grounds 6:00 – 9:00 pm

Taneytown Carnival Grounds 6:00 – 8:00 pm

Mt. Airy Carnival Grounds 6:00 – 8:00 pm

According to the NATW website, “National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.”
