Court Street and Center Street Intersection Lane Closures Begin 5/16 CANCELLED
The City of Westminster advises this notice is canceled until further notice; new dates will be announced in the future.
Westminster, MD, Tuesday, May 14, 2019 – Beginning Thursday, May 16th at approximately 7:30 a.m., the City of Westminster will begin replacing a sewer line at the N. Court Street and Center Street intersection in Westminster. The project will result in one or both lanes being closed on Court Street at various times and a possible single lane closure on Center Street. Traffic control will be at the location to assist motorists.
The intersection is located at a main access to the campus including Carroll County Government, Carroll County Board of Education, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and local courthouses. Employees and visitors should be prepared to use alternate entrances to the campus from Center Street or Court Street, as construction allows. Court and Center Street on-street parking may be affected, optional parking can be found across Center Street in Lot D (across from the BERC Building).
The project is expected to continue for a minimum of five business days and possibly longer. All lanes should be open Saturday and Sunday.
