Westminster, MD, Tuesday, May 4, 2021 – The Carroll County Board of Commissioners invite all interested members of the public to participate in a virtual Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at 7:00 pm regarding the FY22 Proposed Budget and the FY 22-27 Operating and Community Investment Plans. The Public Hearing will be held virtually, broadcast on Channel 24 and streamed live on the county meeting portal.

To participate in the Public Hearing for viewing or to comment, please call +1 (872) 240-3311 and use access code: 171-658-741 when prompted. Callers are given three minutes for public comment and will be called to speak in the order they have entered the virtual environment.

Budget information is available on the county’s budget website with details for the FY22 Proposed Budget and FY22-27 Recommended Budget Plans available.  

Any interested residents can also submit any questions or concerns directly to Director Zaleski at tzaleski@carrollcountymd.gov.

After the Public Hearing, additional budget work sessions may be held by the commissioners to make any modifications to the proposed budget based on the information received during the Public Hearing.  These work sessions are tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, May 18th and Thursday, May 20th.

The FY22 budget adoption is planned for Tuesday, May 25th at 1:00 pm.

The event will be available for viewing on the county meeting portal and the county YouTube channel. In addition, all meetings will be replayed on Comcast Channel 24.
