BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS CARROLL COUNTY, MARYLAND AGENDA

On Tuesday, August 26, 2026, at the times noted below, or as soon thereafter as possible, the 
Carroll County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing in the Reagan Room (Rm. 003), 
Carroll County Office Building, 225 North Center Street, Westminster, Maryland 21157, for the 
following case and any other official business as time allows:

9:00 a.m.  Case #6560  A request for an extension of the BZA’s approval decision from February 26, 
2026, a Conditional Use for a contractor’s equipment storage yard and multiple variances at 2331 
Hampstead-Mexico Road, Westminster, Maryland on property zoned “A” Agricultural District, in

9:15 a.m.   Case #6612  A request for conditional use for a retirement village, consisting of 
seventy-two (72) townhome style units. The site is located on Rolling View Drive, Sykesville, 
Maryland on property zoned “R-20,000” Residential District in Election District 5. By: Long Meadow 
Park, LLC and St. John Properties, Inc. Code of Public Local Laws and Ordinances, Sections 158.002, 
158.075.01, 158.075.03(C)(2), and 158.161. A site visit is planned for August 19, 2026, at approximately 10:00 a.m.
