Westminster, MD, Tuesday, June 3, 2025 – Carroll County Government is pleased to announce that the 41st Maryland Wine Festival® will return to the Carroll County Farm Museum on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 11 am – 5 pm.  The event will feature wonderful local wines from Maryland wineries, great food from a variety of food trucks, fantastic vendors for shopping, and a day of unforgettable entertainment. The event also offers beer vendors.  Tickets are on sale now through the Maryland Wineries Association! Mark your calendars today!  

The event is a partnership between Carroll County Government Department of Economic Development and the Maryland Wineries Association. Each year, thousands of wine enthusiasts and festivalgoers are invited to indulge in a delightful experience where Maryland’s finest wines take center stage. Nestled amidst the charming backdrop of the Farm Museum’s 143-acre historic farm, attendees will have the opportunity to savor an array of locally crafted wines from many Maryland wineries. Seasoned wine lovers enjoy discovering new local wines, and people just beginning to experience wines will also enjoy the festival.

The Maryland Wine Festival was established in 1984 in Union Mills, Maryland, and has been held at the Carroll County Farm Museum in Westminster, Maryland, since 1985. It is one of the oldest and largest wine festivals on the East Coast.

“We are always excited to celebrate Maryland’s wonderful wineries and wines during this yearly festival and welcoming thousands of people who make the event a yearly ritual, as well as those who want to experience this special event for the first time,” said Director of Economic Development Director Denise Beaver.  “Along with an amazing exhibit of Maryland wines, the festival features two excellent bands, great food, and a retail market for shopping…there is something for everyone!”

The festival features an impressive lineup of Maryland wineries showcased in the main field, along with the exclusive Explorer Village, which highlights a curated selection of Maryland-grown wines. Live music includes The Amish Outlaws and Yacht Rock Gold Experience. 

Tickets to the 41st Maryland Wine Festival are available at various pass levels, each including admission to the Farm Museum’s scenic festival grounds. Designated driver passes are also available at a reduced cost.
