Westminster, MD, Tuesday, October 21, 2025 – Carroll County is seeking opinions regarding public transportation via a community survey. The survey will help the Carroll Transit System learn about public transportation priorities of area residents, visitors, employers, and employees.

The public transportation survey will remain open until November 6, 2025. The survey is available by clicking here or on the QR code below: 

This survey is part of data collection for a Transit Development Plan (TDP) that is currently in progress for the Carroll Transit System. The purpose of the TDP is to develop a five-year plan to maintain and improve public transportation services in Carroll County.

The TDP is being conducted by KFH Group, a consulting firm that specializes in the transit industry, with funding assistance through the Maryland Department of Transportation – Maryland Transit Administration. A draft of the TDP is scheduled to be complete by January 31, 2026.
