Westminster, MD, Thursday, August 20, 2026 - The Board of Carroll County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at approximately 9:00 a.m., in Room 311 of the Carroll County Office Building, 225 North Center Street, Westminster. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment regarding the proposed 2026 amendment to the 2023 Carroll County Water and Sewer Master Plan. The Notice of Public Hearing was first advertised on August 13, 2026.

The proposed amendment may be reviewed on the county’s website by clicking here or by obtaining hard copies in the main lobby of the County Office Building (225 North Center Street, Westminster, Maryland, 21157) during normal business hours, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Thursday and 8:00 am – 3:00 pm on Fridays (until September 4, 2026)

To comment on the proposed resolution, please attend the hearing or email the Commissioners at commissioners@carrollcountymd.gov prior to the date of the hearing. The Commissioners may approve the 2026 amendment based upon the comments received and could do so without additional public hearings. Therefore, it is important to be present or send comments.
