Office of Home Energy Programs (OHEP) helps Maryland’s families pay their utility bill, minimize heating crises, and make energy costs more affordable.
Maryland Energy Assistance Program (MEAP) provides assistance grants to help with home heating bills. Payments are made to the fuel supplier and utility company on the customer’s behalf.
Income eligibility for a 1 person household is $1,579.37/month
Income eligibility for a 2 person household is $2,124.79/month
Assets are not counted for this program.
