Renters' Tax Credit
What is the RTC Program?
This program provides property tax credits for renters, who meet certain requirements. The concept rests on the reasoning that renters indirectly pay property taxes as part of their rent. The plan is based on the relationship between rent and income.
Who is eligible to apply for this program?
If you are age 60 (or over) or are 100% disabled and meet all of the requirements, it would be worthwhile to file an application for the Renters’ Tax Credit program.
