  • Food is only allowed in designated areas.   Members may bring a drink into an activity.

Carroll County Recognizes World Elder Abuse Awareness Day with a Series of Events

In recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, the Bureau of Aging & Disabilities' Long Term Care Ombudsman Program in partnership with Carroll County Adult Protective Services and the Carroll County State's Attorney's Office, will offer a special program to examine financial exploitation of older adults and learn ways to protect individuals from scams and fraud. The program will be offered at each Carroll County Senior & Community Center.

  • Viewing of the documentary "Last Will & Embezzlement"
  • Tips and Tools to protect against financial exploitation, scams and fraud
  • Catered lunch by local restaurant (reservation for lunch is required and must be made by calling your center)
  • Shredding Event in partnership with Senior Medicare Patrol
