Bear Branch Nature Center’s wonderful, hard-working volunteers make everything possible. If you are interested in volunteering at Bear Branch Nature Center, please fill out the application found here and send or email the completed form to Bear Branch Nature Center staff.

Regular volunteers assist with a variety of tasks, including animal care, weeding and gardening, greeting visitors, and preparing materials for upcoming programs. Regular volunteer shifts are available Wednesday through Sunday, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. All regular volunteers must be at least 14 years old.

Bear Branch Nature Center also hosts regular volunteer events that the entire family is welcome to join. Contact Bear Branch at 410-386-3580 or bearbranch@carrollcountymd.gov for more information.

Additionally, Bear Branch Nature Center is always looking for volunteers to assist with monitoring bluebird boxes; as well as helping with our two large festivals each year.
