Carroll County’s 4th Annual Carroll EnviroFest

Westminster, MD, Monday, October 20, 2025 – Come join the Board of Carroll County Commissioners and Department of Planning and Land Management at the county’s fourth annual Carroll EnviroFest on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Robert Moton Center, 300 South Center Street in Westminster.
Envirofest showcases Carroll County community groups dedicated to environmental stewardship, including Friends of Liberty Reservoir, Piney Run Nature Center, and more!!! Attendees will learn how to promote and implement practices to sustain the county’s natural resources. The event will also feature a high school youth recycled art contest, with attendees voting for their favorite artwork.
The University of Maryland Insect Zoo will be on-site for our younger guests. Demonstrations will be presented on Maryland’s 5 Million Trees Initiative: Trees for Your Neighborhoods, Carroll County Recycling Office Recycle Coach, and more. There will also be a tulip bulb giveaway, a plant cutting swap, houseplant BINGO, and a drawing for a rain barrel and compost bin. This event is free and open to the public
