County to Hold 4th Annual Carroll EnviroFest

Westminster, MD, Tuesday, September 16, 2025 – The Carroll County Board of Commissioners and Department of Planning & Land Management are excited to announce the county’s 4th annual Carroll EnviroFest. The event will be held Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Robert Moton Center, 300 South Center Street in Westminster.
The EnviroFest will showcase Carroll County community groups focused on environmental stewardship. Presentations will be made by the Maryland Forest Service 5 Million Trees Initiative and Carroll County Recycling and Conservation. The University of Maryland Insect Zoo will be on-site, and a rain barrel and compost bin will be given away during the event. This event is free, open to the public, and attendees will learn more about how to promote and implement practices to sustain the county’s natural resources.
The EnviroFest will also feature a youth recycled art contest for high school students, with attendees voting for their favorite artwork.
