Westminster, MD, Thursday, August 14^th, 2025 – Registration is open for the Fall session of Ready Carroll sponsored by the Department of Public Safety and partner agencies. Ready Carroll is a free 8-hour program providing Carroll County residents with basic skills needed to prepare for and respond to everyday emergencies as well as community-wide disasters. There will be multiple interactive demonstrations including a fire extinguisher simulator.

Topics include:

• September 4^th- Citizen Preparedness
• September 11^th- Crime prevention and safety
• September 18^th- Fire prevention and safety
• September 25^th- Community Resources/Review

Classes will take place in person at the Carroll County Public Safety Training Center through four consecutive weekly sessions beginning September 4th^th and run through each Thursday in September. Each session begins at 6:00 p.m., and there is no cost to participate.
