NOTICE OF INTENT TO PURCHASE A RURAL LEGACY EASEMENT

The Board of County Commissioners of Carroll County, Maryland, announces its intent to purchase a Rural Legacy Easement over 82.685 acres of land, located at 5111 Roller Road, Millers, Maryland, 21102 from JANICE C. JUDY for $509,763.52.  The County Commissioners will decide whether or not to purchase this easement at a public meeting which is to be held no sooner than fifteen days from the date this notice appears.  Any person wishing to comment on the proposed purchase may do so, either orally or in writing, by contacting the County Commissioners Office, 225 North Center Street, Westminster, Maryland, 21157, and/or may appear at the meeting.  Questions should be addressed to John Parker Smith Jr., Program Manager (jsmith@carrollcountymd.gov), Agricultural Land Preservation Program, Department of Land and Resource Management, 410-386-2214 (MD Relay Service 7-1-1/800-735-2258).

AN AGRICULTURAL LAND PRESERVATION EASEMENT

 

            The Board of County Commissioners of Carroll County, Maryland, announces its intent to purchase an Agricultural Land Preservation Easement over an adjoining 26.82 acres of land, as additional acreage to a 195.29 acre preserved farm, located at Bethel and Patapsco Roads, Finksburg, Maryland, 21048, from Wilfred S. Hoff, Sr. and Deborah A. Muse for $164,154.90. The County Commissioners will decide whether or not to purchase this easement at a public meeting which is to be held no sooner than fifteen days from the date this notice appears.  Any person wishing to comment on the proposed purchase may do so, either orally or in writing, by contacting the County Commissioners Office, 225 North Center Street, Westminster, Maryland, 21157.
