Susan Krebs Appointed Commissioner for District 5

Westminster, MD, Thursday, September 11, 2025 – The Board of Carroll County Commissioners and county staff welcome Susan Krebs as the next District 5 commissioner. She was nominated by the Carroll County Republican Central Committee, then appointed by Governor Moore, and today was sworn in to serve out the remainder of Commissioner Ed Rothstein’s term.
Krebs earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Towson State University. She began her career in public service in 1998 on the Carroll County Board of Education and went on to serve 20 years as a Delegate in the Maryland General Assembly. She is widely respected for her dedication and remains a steadfast advocate for the values that define Carroll County.
Kenny Kiler, President of the Board of Commissioners, said, “We are looking forward to working with Susan as we continue to serve our constituents for the betterment of Carroll County. No doubt, her political expertise and savvy will be an asset to the board and the community as a whole.”
